EM:POC SUMMIT

Program Benefits: What Will You Experience?

The summit will be held live for three days, followed by five follow-up sessions throughout the year, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.

This is the only conference specifically tailored for people of color in the field of enrollment management.

Faculty facilitators will work closely with you including the five follow-up online sessions, offering both educational and personal support.

The summit offers a range of educational sessions, not limited to enrollment management strategies, to admission operations to topics about supporting students of color, and effective people management.

Our format foster community building and interactive learning through EM:POC Huddles, EM:POC Teams, EM:POC Hot Topics, and social activities.

Meals and social events are designed to facilitate networking, with special events like a cultural showcase and ancestral sharing promoting deeper connections.

The EMPOC Summit stands out for its emphasis on strategic learning rather than solely just tactical skills. This approach equips participants with foundational knowledge and strategies that are transferable and adaptable to various roles and institutions.

The summit provides a supportive space for discussing challenges specific to enrollment professionals of color

The summit extends its impact with a 5 post-summit series focusing on special topics, idea exchanges, and case studies, enhancing long-term learning and development.

The model created by Claude Anderson can be used to understand and target full-pay families, girls, students of color, athletes or any other select group you are trying to understand and recruit.

With sessions on managing up, down, and sideways, and career advancement strategies, the summit is dedicated to empowering professionals for leadership roles.

Each participant will be offered a 30-minute, one-on-one career counseling session, scheduled post-summit with Strategenius, a premier search firm for schools seeking diverse candidates.
