This comprehensive workshop is meticulously crafted for enhancing engagement with targeted segments that you are trying to matriculate in your school – students of color, athletes, performing artists, full-pay families, or a particular gender to name some common targets.  This strategic approach will revolutionize your marketing and recruiting efforts and improve your success.  You will perfect your skills by deeply focusing on the customer’s needs, desires, and challenges allowing you to develop a more effective system for marketing to and recruiting of your targeted segments. That means meeting families where they are and stripping away some of the exclusionary language and other communications practices that may be alienating to those who don't come from your "traditional" applicant pools. It also means letting families know where we stand in your equity work, in ways that they can understand and embrace.

EMPOC Teams are facilitated small group sessions designed for collaborative problem-solving and peer learning. These intimate gatherings provide a supportive environment where enrollment management professionals of color can address specific challenges, share experiences, and develop practical solutions together.

Each of the four EMPOC Team sessions throughout the summit will be guided by an experienced EMPOC Facilitator.

EMPOC Huddles are virtual reconnection points, scheduled in November and May, that sustain the momentum and community built during the EMPOC Summit. These two-hour sessions blend structured professional development with peer consultation to address emerging challenges and deepen connections among enrollment management professionals of color.
